Due to the poor air quality expected in San Francisco through the weekend, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone Mama G's 10th Annual Thanksgiving Street Dinner until Sunday, December 9th. The health and safety of our guests, our volunteers, and all of our neighbors is of top concern right now given the horrific wildfires burning in Butte County, which are causing hazardous air quality conditions in San Francisco and most of the Bay Area.

We encourage folks who are still looking for a way to give back this Thanksgiving to consider volunteering at a Tenderloin based food-service organization, such as GLIDESt. Anthony Foundation, or Project Open Hand. These organizations provide free meals to folks 365 days a year, no matter the conditions, and we know that they are expected to be busy this coming weekend and week. If you can lend a hand for us, consider lending a hand to them.

We can't wait to be out in community with all of you soon. We wish you and yours a safe, healthy, and happy Thanksgiving and hope to see you on Sunday, December 9th.

In community,
The Mama G's Planning Committee
